Featured Project: Houston Wall of Fame, Est. 1993

In 1993, the Wall of Fame was established as Houston’s first legal graffiti wall to paint, thanks to Micky Phoenix and the Luckie School house. GONZO247 stumbled upon this property over 30 years ago while looking for a wall to paint. He rolled up not knowing he’d be met with a mad owner holding a shotgun asking him what he was doing on her property. With some words exchanged she asked to prove what he and his homie could rock on her wall. After a couple hours they showed her what they could do with a car trunk full of spray paint and the wall was theirs and invited others to paint for many, many years after that fateful day. Many of Houston’s greatest have painted there and the underground parties held there were legendary. Today, 2022, through what some call an incredible full circle and most deserving calling, GONZO247 now has his studio located on this property and looks forward to refreshing and remixing a lot while there.
