The Messenger

"The Messenger" is part of the study / series titled GEOL0871. These pieces are concepts that I envision on a bigger scale either as a mural or on larger stretched canvas. I wanted to try out some ideas that have been living in my head, and I just needed to see if they would work in the physical world. I love the parallel of exploring this space on canvas and man’s exploration of space / universe especially as a ties into the search for intellectual life. This series plays with a central figure, astronaut, and his place In these unexplored, unknown distant galaxies. The piece is spray paint, latex and paint markers on loose canvas.
